World Children Sport Committee (President Hyun Suk SEO) has established its third branch in Gangwon Province .

The signing ceremony of the branch was held at 11 a.m. on the 23rd (Thur) at the Chuncheon Sports Center in Gangwon Province, attended by executives of the Gangwon branch, including WorldCSC President Hyun Suk SEO, Vice Chairman Hoo Jun KIM and Gangwon Branch Chairman Tae Soo JANG.

Hyun Suk SEO, President of Committee, said, "We are pleased to establish a branch in Gangwon, a city of peace and prosperity. We will work together with the Gangwon branch to build a lot of infrastructure and grow into a bigger global organization in cooperation with the committee next year," he said.

Tae Soo JANG, the head of the Gangwon branch, said, "I think it is an honor to establish the 3rd branch of the World Children Sport Committee here in Gangwon Province, and I will work hard to create a venue for children to experience and learn various sports and contribute to the development of sports. We will do our best to grow together with our headquarters."

Tae Soo JANG , Gangwon branch Chairman, is currently the secretary-general of Federation Of Gangwondo Residents communities.

사단법인 세계어린이스포츠위원회(World CSC,위원장 서현석, 이하 ‘위원회’)가 강원도에 국내 3호 지부를 설립했다.

23일(목) 오전 11시, 강원도 춘천 종합체육회관에서 서현석 WorldCSC 위원장, 김후준 부위원장과 장태수 지부장 등 강원지부 임원들이 참석한 가운데 체결식이 열렸다.

위원회 서현석 위원장은 “평화와 번영의 도시 강원도에 지부 설립을 하게 되어 기쁘게 생각한다. 강원지부와 내년에 위원회가 계획하고 있는 세계어린이스포츠게임(어린이올림픽)을 같이 협력하여 많은 인프라를 구축하고, 더 큰 글로벌 단체로 성장하겠다.”고 말했다.

강원지부장은 맡은 장태수 지부장은 “세계어린이스포츠위원회 3호 지부를 이 곳 강원도에서 설립하게 되어 영광으로 생각하며, 어린이들이 다양한 스포츠를 경험하고 배울 수 있는 장을 만들어 스포츠 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다. 본부와 함께 동반성장 하도록 최선의 노력을 하겠다.”고 전했다.

장 지부장은 현재 강원도민회 중앙회 사무총장을 맡고 있다.
